Psychic attacks occur when someone directs negative energy toward another person, intentionally or unintentionally. Psychic attacks can be detrimental to your energy and well-being, so it’s important to learn how to protect yourself from them. As an empath, I have dealt with psychic attacks before, so I shield myself, so I don't absorb other people's negativity. It feels gross, let's be honest. In this blog post, we will discuss what a psychic attack is, how to shield yourself from negative energy, and how to manage your energy in the face of a psychic attack.

In high school, I experienced my first psychic attack. It took me some time to understand. Every time I went to English class, I felt a heaviness come over me. It was a psychic attack from someone in the class, and I knew who it was. From that point on, it became awkward. Every day the energy got heavier and heavier until I didn't even want to go to class anymore. The teacher told me to switch seats with another student because she was distracting the class, but it was awkward. In the end, I acknowledged the energy and started taking steps to shield myself so I could attend class with grounded energy.

You can imagine yourself surrounded by a bubble of white light that serves as a barrier between you and any negative energy that may be coming your way. As you do this visualization, repeat a mantra that reinforces your protection.


Crystals

Crystals are a powerful tool to protect your energy and keep negative energy at bay. Black tourmaline, obsidian, and hematite are excellent crystals to use for protection. These crystals are grounding, absorb negative energy, and promote feelings of calm and peace.

Salt baths

Salt baths are an excellent way to cleanse and protect your energy field. Adding epsom salt to your bathwater can help you release negative energy and replenish your energy levels.

Boundaries

Setting clear boundaries is an important aspect of protecting your energy from negative influences. This means learning to say no to people and situations that drain your energy or cause you stress. It's okay to prioritize your well-being and put yourself first.


Choose your crew

Be mindful of the people you allow into your circle. Surround yourself with positive, supportive individuals who uplift you and inspire you to be your best self.

When you set an intention, you are sending a clear message to the universe that you are taking control of your energy field and are committed to protecting it. You can do this by simply saying out loud, "I intend to protect my energy from any negative influence."

I enjoy the technique of going outside and allowing the gentle breeze to purge any negativity or stress from my body. When negative or low vibrational energy blows away, I visualize the negative energy turning into butterflies and flying off into the universe.

Remember, protecting your energy is an ongoing practice that requires intention, dedication, and mindfulness. It's not a one-time event, but a lifestyle choice. When you make a conscious effort to protect your energy, you cultivate a sense of inner peace, clarity, and resilience that allows you to thrive in all areas of your life. By implementing these techniques, you can shield yourself from negative energy and psychic attacks and create a harmonious, balanced life.

 

Clearing Your Energy

Sage smudging is a powerful technique used to purify a space or an individual. Light a sage bundle and allow the smoke to fill the air. Wave the bundle around your body, paying attention to areas where you feel negative energy is concentrated. Use the smoke to clear your energy field, as well as any objects or spaces you suspect may be holding negative energy. It's important to note that smudging must be done with respect, as it is a sacred spiritual tradition.


Salt Baths

Salt baths are an excellent way to detoxify your body and release negative energy. Fill a bath with warm water and add Epsom salt or Himalayan salt. Soak in the bath for at least 20 minutes, visualizing the negative energy leaving your body and dissolving in the salt water. You can also add essential oils, such as lavender or rose, to enhance the cleansing process. Check with your medical professional before trying a salt bath.

 

Reiki or Energy Healing

Reiki and energy healing are powerful modalities that can help you clear your energy and restore balance to your body. Seek out a practitioner who can help you release any energetic blockages and restore your vitality.


Visualization

Visualizing is a powerful technique for clearing energy from a psychic attack. Imagine yourself standing under a beautiful, clear waterfall. As the water cascades over your body, it washes away any negative energy and leaves you feeling renewed and revitalized. You can also visualize the negative energy as a dark cloud that is lifted away from your body by the water's flow. Other visualizations include picturing yourself surrounded by a protective bubble or white light, which can act as a barrier against any negative energy. You can also visualize cutting cords or ties that are connecting you to the person or situation that caused the psychic attack.

It's important to remember that clearing your energy is an ongoing process, especially if you are a highly sensitive or empathic person. Regularly incorporating grounding, smudging, salt baths, energy healing, and visualization techniques into your self-care routine can help you maintain a clear and healthy energy field.
